Canon PIXMA GM4070 Wireless Monochrome Ink Tank Printer is designed for offices, professionals, home users and small businesses that require economical, high-volume black-and-white printing. It combines printing, scanning and copying with wireless and wired network connectivity, making it suitable for both individual and shared office environments.
The GM4070 delivers monochrome printing speeds of up to 13 images per minute, with automatic 2-sided printing helping reduce paper usage and improve productivity. It uses GI-70 pigment black ink, which provides sharp and durable text output for everyday business documents.
For high-volume printing, the standard GI-70 black ink provides an estimated yield of up to 6,000 pages, while Economy Mode can extend this to approximately 8,300 pages. This makes the GM4070 an economical choice for businesses with regular black-and-white printing requirements.
The printer includes a 35-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for batch scanning and copying. It also features automatic duplex printing and two-way paper feeding, with a 250-sheet front cassette and 100-sheet rear tray for a total standard paper capacity of up to 350 sheets.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Direct Wireless, USB 2.0 and wired Ethernet, making it easy to connect the printer to computers, mobile devices and office networks. Canon PRINT and PIXMA Cloud Link provide convenient mobile and cloud printing options.
Although the GM4070 is designed primarily for monochrome printing, it supports optional colour document printing using Canon CL-741 or CL-741XL colour cartridges. This provides additional flexibility for users who occasionally need colour documents.
