Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing Lead Time

All standard in-stock hardware, printer consumables, and accessories ordered on astercomputers.in are processed and prepared for shipment within 1 to 2 business days.

• Orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on business days are queued for same-day dispatch preparation.
• Orders are not processed, dispatched, or delivered on Sundays or declared Tamil Nadu public holidays.
• Custom desktop PC builds or specialized printer rental dispatches may require an additional 1 to 2 days for technical quality testing prior to dispatch.

2. Shipping Rates & Calculation

Shipping charges for your order are calculated transparently and displayed during the checkout process before payment confirmation. Rates are determined based on parcel weight, dimensions, and destination PIN code.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Once dispatched from our central Madurai warehouse, estimated transit times are as follows:

• Local Madurai City (625xxx PINs): Same-day or Next-business-day delivery for eligible local addresses.
• Tamil Nadu State: 2 to 4 business days via express regional courier networks.
• Rest of India: 4 to 7 business days via national courier partners.

Note: Delivery lead times may vary slightly during peak festival seasons, extreme weather conditions, or unexpected transport delays.

4. Order Tracking & Notifications

As soon as your package is handed over to our courier partner, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email and WhatsApp message containing your AWB tracking number and courier carrier link.

You can also track your shipment status anytime using our website's Track Order page.

5. Store Pickup (Madurai Customers)

Please bring your digital Order Confirmation email and valid ID when picking up your order.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments

All shipments are securely packaged in multi-layer protective bubble wrap and heavy-duty cartons to protect sensitive electronics. If your package arrives visibly damaged, tampered with, or wet, please refuse delivery or record photos/unboxing videos before opening.

If a package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, Aster Computers will immediately dispatch a free replacement or issue a full refund.
